Inspired by a visit to the Orlando Wetlands in Orange County, Florida. I took artistic liberties with this painting and embellished the drama of the scene (not to say that Florida does not have beautiful skies; quite the opposite, but my reference photo was taken on a general day and I wanted a different feel for this painting). It was difficult to photographic as there was a blue bias but this being said, there is a lot of blue tones going on in the sky and I feel this is close to the original painting.
